USDA Visits Sheboygan To Check Out Seagulls
POSTED: 11:32 am CDT June 21, 2005
Seagulls in Sheboygan have attracted the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
A wildlife specialist visited Sheboygan Tuesday to investigate the growing gull problem near the Washington Square shopping area.
Local business owners said hundreds of the birds are nesting in an empty parking lot, making it a health hazard.
Because of the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act, relocating the birds, eggs and nests requires a federal permit.
