vacation wooo hoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all
we are leaving on vacation this morning
so i won't be on here for awhile
but when i come back maybe i'll have lots of pic's for ya'll
until then

I thought real cowboys didn't get vacations. Thats what they told me 50 years ago and I believed it.

Kind of like my friend says" I was born on the ranch, raised on the ranch, and did not think I ever wanted to do anything else. And then one Saturday night we went to town and some one showed me a $100 dollar bill. I haven't been back to the ranch since."
 
Hope you have a great time on your vacation. Speaking of vacations,
we got some great news yesterday. My oldest sister was on that ship in Greece that sank. She made it OK. All she has is the clothes on her back and her purse but was thankful as the rest was replaceable. There was quite a time lag from when we watched the ship sinking & when she finally got to let us know she was OK!

Now if she had been home & her husband had been on that ship, I would have turned the news over to the cartoon channel..................!

Small world...a group of high school students from about 45 minutes from here were on that boat,they all got out and parents are MORE then relieved.
 
we made it back
we had a good time did the easter thing with my family
my sister and her husband and daughter were there
i have not seen them in almost 2 years
we went fishing and caught some
my wife caught more fish than i did
our daughter caught her first fish "and we gat pic's"
but i don't know when we'll get them on a disc so i can share them with ya'll but when i get them i'll put them on here
i had a great time but i was ready to go back to work this morning
then it stared raining and i came to the house as the lightning was was bad
as for going on vacation during calving
i don't remember getting to many days off when i was calving
but this year i don't have any calving to do just yearlings and they have benn here a long time so not to many worries
we are getting in fresh cattle for summer grass so i'll have to get to doctoring again soon but it won't last long if the weather will get right
then it's smooth sailing all summer
glad to be back

Ummmm..Wouldn't going on vacation help your Vigortone sales? I mean, "Before we started feeding Vigortone, we never went on Vacation. Now the cattle are doing well and we are gone"...I am writing this from the Balcony of the Condo Rental Overlooking the Ocean and listening to the waves on Maui BTW

I bet I had more fun today than you did and I didn't even have to fly halfway around the world.

Getting away once in awhile always seems to help my perspective...Used to believe I either hadn't the time or couldn't afford to..Now I realize I can't afford not to,
