My daughters birthday was yesterday. Her volleyball team played the next town over for the chance to go to the State Tourney last night. Philip went into the game with a 29-3 record while Wall was 28-3. Philip lost the first two badly, squeaked out a win in the third and then won the next two to earn a trip to the big show. A pretty good birthday present.

I have heard a lot of times how volleyball is boring but they haven't been to a game like that. The gym was packed to the rafters and LOUD. I am pretty sure you could have had an ambulance in there with the siren on and nobody could have heard it. Way louder than any college basketball game I have ever been to. What fun!

I think the problem with some girls sports team is the way the girls conduct themselves. No fan enjoys going to games where the girls fall down and they are hurt or bawling around. Years ago when I played ball my mother told me if she ever saw me bawling around on the court like some of the other girls she'd come out of the stands and drag me off. :shock:
