I see on msn that farm workers and labores rank 12th on the lowest paying scale at 8.23 per hour right above ushers and ticket takers at 8.03 per hour.

You know you would do what you do for nothing. I am the same.

But you also know that the experience of doing what you do is pricelsss. I know this as well.

Otherwise we would all be working on the assembly line.

Every once in a while - on those rare but really bad days - I need to be reminded of this. Suspect you have had at least one of those days.

Most other times I make a point of telling everyone I know how good it really is. Bet you do too.

Have worked at coal mine for almost 25 yrs-don't remember day I WANTED to go to work,but thankful for job-let me raise a family and do the ranching life on side,Otherwise have to be away in a camp somewhere when kids were in 4-H,or hockey game!
