Oriented Strand Board.

Um...whats an "oriented strand board"?

Tibbs- you "ignurant flatland cowboy"- don't you know nothing.... :???:

Oriented strand board, or OSB, or waferboard, or Sterling board (UK), is an engineered wood product formed by layering strands (flakes) of wood in specific orientations. In appearance it may have a rough and variegated surface with the individual strips (around 2.5 by 15 cm (approx. 1 in by 6 in) each) lying unevenly across each other.

I was in the same boat Tibbs-- being a flatlander- and being a terrible wood butcher- I had to google it up- and above is what Wikpedia says it is....  :P

Starting pay is just over 21.00 per hour, my interview is at three o'clock on tuesday. It is for the spare board postition gauranteed 20 hours a week talk to a few people that were on the previous spare board and they usually got 35 to 40 hours a week. Down side is that it will be shift work. starting postition is mill services(janitorial)

Haha....I knew what OSB is. It's that big chunky partical board they make instead of plywood these days.

Why it's called Oriented I have no idea, cuz it looks more disoriented than oriented LOL

Now that was both funny and accurate!

All the best to you. It sure is nice to see something come together when you have put a lot of effort into it and it sounds like you were well rewarded.

Keep up that effort and there's no telling where it could take you!
