To qualify as halal, the animal itself must be put down in a certain manner, by a Muslim. You or I are not qualified to slit its throat.

the practice would be considered discriminatory by the liberals,.. why do they exclude perfectly qualified gay people?

can't a gay person slit a goats throat just as easily as a muslim?

the push for halal meat is not only a way to tax US , it is also used to bring in immigrants to do those jobs..
ones that normally wouldn't be allowed into our country. (hint ,... radical clerics)

Is halal meat really much different than kosher? I don't think so.

I had to suffer through fish every Friday at my public school lunch. I have never been to a public school with alot of Jewish kids but I bet they get offer Kosher meals.

I will say again it is much drama and hand wringing over nothing.
