My son rides bareback in the High School Rodeo. Recently some of his gear walked away. He is in need of a used (but still working) Bare Back rigging. If you know of anyone who may have one for sale please contact me at: [email protected].

Thanks..

Go to any collegetown that has a rodeo team- and hit the pawn shops...Usually they have more than they can get rid of....Every cowboy going to college ends up needing money and the first thing that goes is the equipment when they decide they don't want to be bronc riders anymore....

No luck in our little part of the country. The kid is proud, he wants to pay for it with his own money he earns from working cattle. He will not let me buy him one... so at least I can help find him one he can afford (and slide some extra cash when he is not looking) if it is more than he can handle.

Oh I had it all wrong! I thought the arguing was in the Political Bull! Haha

 Well there too.

Your a later comer, you missed most of the R-calf debate.

Since this was posted in Bull Session should this thread be re-titled Democrat Riggin' Wanted? :?

Sorry I am new to this forumn. There does not seem to be a buy/sell/trade place to post. All I am trying to do is find my 16 yr old a new riggin, since his was stolen. The kid loves riding in HS rodeo, and plans on buying the rigg. himself.
As for politics, I am a Soldier and do not have the luxuary of arguing what goes on in Washington. The elected officials make the decisions, but guys like me die to enforce them.

You will find nothing but respect for soldiers on this forum. They have been thanked many times for their sacrifice and are on many prayer list of posters from this forum.
Their is a classified ad section if you click on the little green "Ranchers.net" in the tool bar just under where it says Bull Session. That might help.

It does not matter that you posted this where you did but some of us have been around here a long time ,we have strange sense of humor and have some "inside" jokes.
Hang around a while do some reading to get to know us and pitch in on the posting where ever you like.
I hope your son finds a rigging and has a great rodeo season. :D
