Subject: Wanted: your thoughts on animal agriculture in Michigan

Social, economic and ecological impacts of animal agriculture provide a broad range of perspectives that greatly impact farmers, communities and Michigan's economy. On March 8, 2010, Michigan State University Extension will host "Let's Talk Animals, a conversation about animal agriculture as a sector of Michigan's economy." This free event, held in conjunction with MSU's Agriculture and Natural Resources Week, hopes to stimulate conversations between livestock, poultry and dairy producers and the communities in which they operate.

We'd like you to help us frame this conversation by taking the following survey. It should only take about 10 minutes, and we ask that you take the survey regardless of whether or not you can attend "Let's Talk Animals."

And we'd love it if you joined us for this important event:

Monday, March 8, 2010
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (no lunch provided)
Kellogg Center Auditorium, MSU campus.
FREE. No registration required.

Thank you for your time. Look for more information in the January 2010 issue of The Scoop on Animal Agriculture and the Environment.
