Way To Go, Colorado State Rams!

Go RAMS until a little later this year when BYU plays them! It was a pretty good weekend for the Mountain West. New mexico got waxed by A&M and SDSU let UCLA beat em' but the Cougs and Rams played great! :D Guess me and Turkey Track Bar will have to have a little wager on the game this fall!

The only meaningful game this weekend-the Banjo Bowl-was won by the Saskatchewan Roughriders over the Winnipeg Lose Bombers. We got a kid from North Dakota Weston Dressler is pretty darn handy. Man I love three down football!!!!!

May have to take you up on that leanin' H! But what if I want to take the Y?

Just kidding, although, most years, the Y bet is a wiser one than the CSU bet.

I hope the Rams and Cougars keeps rollin'.

Yippee for the Roughriders! We have been at the Agribition when the Roughriders have been in the playoffs. That place was a zoo. It was worse then Denver during the Stockshow when the Broncos were playing in the playoffs. Which will be ancient history if the Broncos keep playing like they have been.

Weston Dressler is from Bismarck. I watched him play in several games in his high school career. He also played for University of North Dakota (I don't hold that against him.) He is an excellent player and a class act. The Roughies are lucky to have him on their roster.

Cheers---

It makes for exciting football-the Denver Stock Show actually went to Agribition to try and figure out how to copy the 'swamp' experience-pretty much impossible. Weston will be a Roughie for hopefully a long long time-Ty washeaded to a jr. football tryout in Regina if rodeo hadn't come together like it did.

I think BMR is working on me to be a Roughie fan, but that 3 down stuff just doesn't make sense to me....

It just means in Canada we can do in three downs what takes the US four. :P

We can do it in three, but we choose to take a little longer.

Your "field" is lots shorter too!

I thought a Yard was a Yard? Still 10 yards for a first down. We generally have a faster passing game. :D

When our boys are practicing and playing in two feet of snow it evens up the difference.
