I take it they won.Does this mean they go on to the finals?
I was on the phone to my Mom and she yelled to my Dad Winnipeg is charging???? :roll: :?
I don't watch football and the Cup race was on at the same time so that's what Mr. HD was watching.One more week left of that too. :D
 
Yes Winnipeg won,kicked the ball with no time left on the clock....it was purdy :D

Calgary- Sask game ended as I figured with Sask on the win,it was a respectable game,now onto the grey cup...or else :? :lol:

I guess you could call it a win but they sure didn't put the Stamps away.
 
My hockey team was busy beating Tisdale so I didn't have time to watch either game lol. The Canadian girls Under 18 hockey final was good watching too. My boys stunk out the rink on friday but finished up the roadtrip with two pretty good games. Emily's Atom team wonm their first game of the year so she's pretty pumped about that.
 
I missed the Winnipeg game, darn it, but saw part of Sask. Calgary. The Bombers are going to be in tough against Toronto. They're going to need their A game for sure.

My husband has a standing bet with the guy that owns the coffee shop. We owe him a beer for every game the Riders have won, and he owes my husband a beer for every game lost. So far, we owe him more. Now, I've taken to watching football just to see who owes who what. But, I've got the coffee shop guy po'd at me because I tell him now that it's down to the nitty-gritty, the Riders are gonna choke. B.C. is gonna be tough to beat. But, if they do win, I'll be cheering for the Green and White. 1989 was a loooooongg time ago, it's time the Grey Cup came back to Saskatchewan.
 
Yahhhh,doin the happy dance,missed both games but pretty happy about the outcome.......Winnipeg vs Sask....almost as good as having the Stamps in there.

BRING IT bombers. RIDERS vs Winnipeg in TO. Check back i called the west final and east champs in the pre season. I wondered if the riders could beat the lions but DD is done, JJ is too green and Buck was injured so The riders had it in hand. And now with Kevin Glenn breaking his arm the riders look good . Can we say team of destiny. Hank was still smil'in but sour grapes about not being named most outstanding player in the weat he picked BC AND LOOKED THE FOOL HE IS. Championship teams find a way to win. The riders are playing hurt and finding a way to win. Here we go RIDERS. :cowboy: :lol:
 
Kevin Glenn is out with a broken arm. Don't know much about the backup Q.B. Dinwoodie. He looked pretty calm and cool replacing Glenn. Was 4 for 4 in passing against a good Toronto defence. Supposed to have the highest percentage for a q.b. coming out ou Utah.(passing) Should be a heck of a game. The Bombers will win. Nice to play another western team for the cup. Go Dinwoodie and GO BOMBERS!!!!!!
 
Rainie how did your bombers do without KGlen.? Maybe the kid is ready but he is coming into a high pressure game and i admit our SK offence can be hot and cold but do you think this rookie will tear up the Sk defense did you see what they did to the best offense in the league. It is whole different thing from coming in to mop up with a lead than to lead the offence i have seen alot of it being a rider an. I would have liked to see kevin glen being a ex-rider battle the riders for the cup. It would have been a great game, as it is Your backup has no rep. so at best he is a wild card but i would think the riders are favored. The bombers lost bolden too- hamstring - he shutdown the riders recievers himself last time they met. He will be missed. Sorry but your backups aren't as good as the starters by any stretch where as the rider can platoon at alot of positions. I guess we will have to see who wins next sunday. Oh well anybody is better than Tor or BC. Best of Luck Bombers we'll see you guys on Sunday>
 
Dinwoodie supposedly holds the record for the highest pass completion percentage in NCAA history. That's what the guys doing the commentary at the end of the Winnipeg/Toronto game were saying. They said to expect big things from him in the next year or two. I'm sure Bombers fans are expecting big things next week.
 
Winnipeg Schminnipeg the cup is coming backk where it belongs to Regina. Right now the Liberals could win in Sask. if they had Kent Austin as their leader lol. I'm going to miss the game as I'll be on the bench coaching hockey-imagine that lol.
 
Sorry guys. The Dinwoodie kid has a week to memorize the playbook and to learn how to hand the ball off to Charles Roberts. Pretty sure he is going to have a big game. Can see Roberts running for 150 yards and the receivers getting another 450. Bodin is a fast healer so he'll be good to go. I'm thinking the score will be 31 - 10 for the boys in blue. Gotta go cut some more strings, have a good one.
 
rainie just some imfo - It is Ryan Dinwiddie, he has been a bomber for 2 years He started 3 yrs at boise state set passing records And the bombers stats say he grew taller after college :roll: . Another pocket passer just like dave dickenson. Did you see what happened to him in the west final? He better get timing down on hot routes, he is not going to have the same kinda time to pass as to gave him in TO. On top of that he is starting a big game when he hasn't started a game since his last year in college in 2003. All indications he will be thrown to the wolves -perry,schultz,adams et al. He better have a heck of a learning curve. The odds are stacked against him huge. And if he goes down then who Zack Taylor or Kliff Kingsbury. The differnce between Dinwiddie and other backups is in BC the backups get almost as many snaps as the first stringers, in Sk the backup gets treated the same and Crandell acutally was a grey cup mvp. Sorry but dinwiddie may know the offence on paper but on the feild with a blitz coming is different thing let alone in the greycup. There was another guy that had great college stats a cup of coffee in the NFL and was pretty highly regaurded named Akili Smith. How did he do when he got his shot? Oh well Dinwiddie's career will hinge on this game if he loses he is done in winnipeg. Best of luck :D

Yep.........a Grey cup victory party celebrating a Roughie win. Just be sure to wear your greens Mrs. Greg! And seeing as how we'll have a crew on hand maybe we can run the cows through first and get preg- checken and culling caught up too. Maybe somebody should kidnap NR out of his rink so we got somebody to do the arm work.........that way I can stay clean and just supervise the crew and make sure nobody overindulges too early in the day!!

The Grey Cup is Canadas largest National holiday,NOBODY works that day,and the fact that its TWO prairie teams makes it a national weekend holiday,party starts Friday night at your place cowsence.....seriously though you really don't want anybody touchin your herefords,some people just don't know how to handle that precious commodity :P esp if they get into the Crown Royal startin Friday night

Well cowsence,after having a talk with gregs female cousin over the extreme excitment she enjoys every year at Agribition...I think I'll pass,although the idea of you buying the drinks are AWFULLY appealing :D
