Twice this winter have had valve stems with slow leaks in them on duals where I couldn't get to the core without taking the tire off.....and too cold and busy to want to mess with that. So in the spirit of Redneckdom, I unscrewed the head off the air chuck (with the air turned off, of course) , sprayed a healthy dose of WD-40 into the neck, replaced the head, turned on the air and filled the tire, holding the airhose up to make sure all the WD40 went into the valve stem......and no more leaks....so far.
