We needed to get a point this weekend to clinch a playoff spot-we went on the road and the boys played one of the best games I've seen in a long time-big hits-fast-no penalties and tied Humboldt 1-1. We needed Rosetown to do us a favour and beat Unity last night which they did-my hotel room was full of parents [phoning the Rosetown rink to check their game score. We played again today on the road and won 5-4 so we only had one loss in our last eleven games-quite a turn around from only winning two in our first thirteen. Ty just missed a Gordie Howe hattrick-he had a goal and a good tilt but never got his assist lol. I'm pretty proud of this group of boys they've played through alot of tough times and really earned their success.
