Thank you, America, for not electing this woman our Vice President.

Sarah Palin, still smarting over coverage of her vice presidential run, calls the media's reporting on her family "very scary" and says there may be "a class issue" that explains the more sympathetic treatment of Caroline Kennedy.

The Alaska governor also took a swipe at Katie Couric over the CBS interview in which Palin stumbled badly, saying: "Katie, you're not the center of everyone's universe."

Palin did her venting Monday with John Ziegler, a conservative radio talk show host turned filmmaker, who posted excerpts online to promote the sale of a forthcoming DVD titled "Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected." "I think this woman was assassinated by the media," he said yesterday.

If you need your Palin fix, there's more at the link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28573074/

But before you click on the link, I'll tell you that she's trying to rewrite the history of her part in the McCain campaign.

Why when Obama said, you can attack me but leave my family out of your attacks, to the media didn't it carry through to all candidates including Palin and her family. The Media were all over Alaska looking for any garbage they could about Palin and her family but their never bothered to investigate Obama's many questionable business dealings with more than shady people. Any body that would support this kind of one sided reporting should be ashamed of themselves.

The media played a huge huge part in getting BO elected. They also played a huge part in seeing that McCain & Palin failed. You bet the media is one sided on almost every issue they report.

Far too many Americans aren't informed enough to know they should be concerned about the media bias or "ashamed of themselves"!!!! Thank you public school system!!

Yep, you're right, Frankie. Why would we want a person with morals, who has demonstrated that they know right from wrong and who has actually done something in their political career when we can have a habitual lying Kenyan Socialist with a history (what he has not hidden, anyway) of unacceptable personal and professional relationships?

Here you guys go- your own Sarah Palin calendar....
Probably part of the PR firm she hired's idea...
I feel no sympathy for the lady- when you hire a PR firm to make you a celebrity- you catch all the negative that goes with celebrity status...

Paris and Palin- both out to get attention....

Stop the crap Oldtimer you have to admit the MSM was very one sided when they didn't go to Illinois and report on the corrupt people Obama was having dealings with, but flew to Alaska and made up lies about Palin. Explain why the MSM didn't report Biden's family members being charged with fraud by their business partners, but they reported Palin's daughter was unmarried and preg. If that is not one sided crap reporting nothing is. :x

If the media didn't report it- How do you know about it :???:

Palin will be a has been by 2012...You can't go out attacking the media and your running mate- blaming everything on them- and then expect your party to follow you...If she keeps giving these whacko interviews blaming everyone (Katie Couric asked hard questions :???:   ) she will further divide a very divided Republican Party and end up being another Pat Buchanan with just a few rightwingnuts following her-- thereby guaranteeing the Dems control....

OT "rightwing nut Pat Buccanan"
I'd think he'd be your type of man.. anti-immigration, trade protectionist, isolationist.

Palin does have a legitimate gripe about the way the press reported on her and gave Biden and Obama a pass on a lot of things, but it is a fine line between coming off as a whiner and a sore loser and setting the record straight. She needs to put this last election into the lessons learned file and build upon her strenghts and her weaknesses. The mainstream media will act predictably and she needs to figure out other ways of getting her message out and building her resume for the future.

Or she could be the next Reagan!!!! If you were right , she would never make the news.

OT, do you have any problem with media sources aligning with one political party??????

From the beginning of this country media sources have aligned with political parties and candidates- back to the days of Washington- Jefferson- Hamilton--- the Federalists, the Jeffersonians, the Democrats, the Republicans, the Democratic Republicans, Whigs, etc.... Endorsements by the media were common...
Its just now there is much more media and much more of a minute by minute following of the news- both by the media and the public....

And as long as you have media putting out both sides of an issue- the public will have a choice of which direction they want to go.... But if you listen to only one side like the Rush's, Coulters, Liddy's, and FOX news- you only get the one view of the issue...

This was the reason so many folks have been fighting the integration of the media industry and the FCC allowing so many of these newspapers, radio, TV networks to consolidate... (Incidentally which was allowed to happen almost without exception by the Bush appointed FCC- over the strong objections of a large share of the public)......

Endorsements and editorials are one thing..........favoring one candidate over another in the reporting of hard news is another.

If the media WOULD put out both sides of the issues to begin with, then people like Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. wouldn't be as popular as they are. People are looking for alternatives to the left leaning crap they're being spoon fed every day.

Thanks for the laugh. You make it sound like the mergers have somehow caused the media to suddenly veer to the right. Take a look at the last election. Why were so many reporters sent to Alaska to dig up dirt on Palin while only a few were assigned to Biden? How come when Biden said something stupid, which was often enough, it was barely reported, while Palin's gaffes were front page news? Why did Obama get a pass on his past associations that would have seen a white Republican candidate pilloried. If McCain had belonged to a church that preached white supremacy, spewed hatred for America, and blamed every problem under the sun on the black race.......do you think the media would have glossed it over like they did Wright? Do you think it was OK for Chris Mathews to say that his job as a journalist (I use the term loosely) was to see that the Obama administration was successful? Well, at least he was honest about his bias, unlike most. I could go on and on.

The fact is that anyone who can't see the left leaning bias in most of the media either isn't paying attention,or is lying to themselves and everyone else.

VanC, you make great points for anyone with an open mind...addressing it to OT, you are beating your head against a wall.

The problem with MSM is that there has been a break down between hard news and editorials...hard news is now editorialized. Around 85-90% of journalist identify themselves as Democrats and they bias the news. I find it amusing that Fox News is claimed to be biased right...compared to MSM, they are certainly to the right of them, but Fox is the closest source we have to center. That's because they present both sides of issues and the only source to present true conservative views.

Van, "If McCain had belonged to a church that preached white supremacy, spewed hatred for America, and blamed every problem under the sun on the black race.......do you think the media would have glossed it over like they did Wright?"

BINGO, but YOU'RE going to be the racist, not Obama, for pointing this out. Welcome to the racist club, Van.
