High school band performing at the spring concert last evening. The Kosmo Kid is not a participant in the music department, but we went to watch anyway.

View looking to the southeast this morning after a nice rain during the night. Now we are either going to have mow the lawn or turn some saddle horses in to graze.

Closer up view. Green is a pretty color. :-)

Those first two shots of the windmill are perdy as paintins.

I think ya should turn the horses in and let em eat the grass. LOL Ya don't hafta git behind them and push em.....and you'll save fuel at the same time.

We only got 3/10 last night. The country sure does look good even though we're supposed to be burning up from global warming.

We went to the BC spring concert the other night. They sort of did a rendition of pop songs through the decades, and it was actually surprising how good it all was. The HS band and choir was particularily very good. A daughter of one of the teachers sang a short solo, and it was incredible how much she sounded like a professional singer! The music teachers are doing a good job and they definitely have some talent to work with.

With the rain last nite and then this afternoon, we've gotten 2 inches of the wonderful stuff..! It came down pretty hard with a little bit of hail, for a short time,,,but all the puddles are full now! Hope you got the same Soapweed..

I like your picture so much that I took the liberty of making some adjustments. I hope you don't mind.

in your chorus picture, the first boy from the left in the front row....reminds me of my oldest boy. the impression he gives off is one of " there are 4 billion other things I would rather be doing right now" exactly how my boy looks at these functions

We have a school here that are the Cowboy's also but the University of Wyoming pissed and moaned and a Judge has declared the school here need's to change their mascot.Seams Wyoming has a Corner on cowboys what a joke.

Very pretty photos Soapweed. I really like the last couple also. They sure would look good in a frame up on the wall.

Here is a photo of this area today. The rain yesterday brought the river up to bankfull. Most of the rain came slow and really soaked in well, but the area upstream from here has a lot of steep country and it doesn't take much to bring the river up.

Soapweed, what would you take for that beautiful blue sky? We have had very little sunshine this spring. We have been in the field only 5 days. Very little planting has been accomplished. The calves are showing the effects as well. They need a string of warm, sunny days! Nice photos!! As of now it is raining again..... inch and a half in the last 3 hours and only 54 degrees.

By the way, as one that has done a lot choir singing in my day, do most audiences come to "watch" a concert or "listen" to a concert????   Glad you support your local talent even if your own is not involved!

Half the fun of listening is watching.

At the college gradation yesterday, our niece was apologizing because of the length of the ceremony. I told her not to worry, because when you've spent most of the last several months staring at the south end of a northbound cow, it is actually quite interesting just to sit and enjoy watching a crowd of people. The novelty does soon wear off though, and it is kind of nice to get back to scrutinizing cows again.
