Great pictures!!!!! Baby lambs are so adorable. Will you have to help bottle them or can they all manage to get enough milk from mama?

momma will likely beable to feed them all. Its normal for her breed to have that many lambs!

Ranchy Ranchy Ranchy im disapointed in you, even thinking about lamb chops! Shame on you!

thanks Passin thru,
Most of the ewes\ lambs we have tryed to save we save, Like Star, and My tomato they were sick almost dead i stayed up all night with them and look at em now!

My old vet had two sayings.. One was no such thing as a sick sheep. They are lviing or they are dead.. Second one was no cow deserved to suffer in pain without banamine while no sheep deserved to die without it...

Have had a few sheep get torn up good and put back together, they can be tough little buggers given half a chance but it sure is hard to tell when the ewes or rams are feeling lousy..

Cool pics CC....greg and I used to have sheep when he was training stock dogs....really miss the little guys running around.

Nice pics Katy!

What breed is that ewe? I've never known anyone to leave more than twins on a ewe.

Thanks, She is a Purebred Rideau Arcott. I breed which was devolped in Canada, they were bred to have very large numbers of lambs, generaly between 3 and 5, be good mothers and produce lots of milk.

The smallest lamb in the picture was over six pound and the largest a little over 8 lbs.

A healthy sheep is one that is looking for a place to die. Been there, done that

Why do all yall think sheep just always die? I dont think we have lost but maybe 4 ewes over the 5 years we have had them. I just dont get why you think all they do is die! Some one explain!

A lot of folks have gotten sheep in the past as an experiment or because they had a good buy on them or something and than they have a train wreck with them.. Sheep.. Well.. They can do some strange things (as can cows).. My first 3 years of having them we never lost a one and than we had a bad spell with a couple having some trouble... Haven't had too much trouble but my lambs alway seem to find trouble.
