Definitely nasty around here-- been snowing and blowing all morning--2-3 inches of snow....Looked at and loaded 4 loads of cull cows 60 miles out in the Missouri Breaks this morning... Not Nice....Half the time it was just tough seeing the cows when the wind got howling...

Luckily the temp is not too bad-- 28 degrees, but when we came back in its sticking to the highways and they are getting slick...Those truckers were not looking forward to driving thru this all the way to SD....

Hopefully Georgia ends up with more snow than us- as I'd like to see those cows graze awhile longer.....

They're saying 30 below wind chills tonite-and temps Sunday nite 15-20 Below --BRRRRRRRRRRRR...

I;m sure your M'ID system must be working fine if you could even see the cows. :roll:

Actually- they were reinspected when they got to the yards- where they could be clipped or whatever- and they all belonged to who they were supposed to...

We ended up with about 2-3 inches of snow on the ground-- and now the cold is hitting...Temp was 1 below at 6AM- has now dropped to 8 Below--with about a 20 Below chill factor...

Predicting 20 Below or colder temps thru the weekend...Might have to camp near the stove and do paperwork.....

So you're expecting 6 more inches of snow in Georgia-eh- Have you called out FEMA yet :???: :wink: :lol:

Most of the first go'round has melted except in the shady spots here and there & in the woods....to be about 50 today then WHAMMO here it comes agaiin with temps about 12F right behiind it!!!


I've got calves to tag out in what is now THE BOG..aka the once dry calving lot!!! It will be like catchin' greased pigs fer sure!!!!



I'm ' bout ready to retire and buy a private tropical island!!!!! :lol: :lol:
