If you are having trouble with a private message (PM) not showing up in your Sentbox, it's probably because the recipient hasn't read the message yet. When you compose a PM and click Submit, the message goes into your Outbox. It remains in your Outbox until it is read by the person you sent it to. At that time it moves into your Sentbox.
