Me too!
But all of the framed ranch-type photos in my house are ones I've taken. So I'd have to always be explaining that I have no idea who those guys are and no, i didn't take it.
In all honesty, I look at these pics of rope&drag brandings and have to wonder why anyone would do it any other way. 8)
I'm with my kids on this--I can't wait til we brand again.
PS: #2-A button down shirt, sure. But what's with the tie?!

And number two DOES have horses.
And a picture of someone in a chute isn't nessecarily a branding picture. If I knew you could get away with that kind of stuff, I would have sent one! :wink:

That tie reminded me of my granddad, who passed on in the 50's...Many times he would wear a tie and white shirt or white shirt with light blue stripes even when working cattle or horses....
Never went to town without wearing his good hat, a tie, and vest/and many times his suitcoat- even when he trailed cows or horses down to the Great Northern Railroad Stockyards- a ride of 30 miles...Said you should always dress your best when going to town--He'd just flip at seeing what some people "wear to town" now....

I dont ever remember my grandad wearin a tie,(other than
maybe on Sunday) but he never went to town without his good
suit coat on and his best hat. And your right, they'd flip if they
seen what some people wear to town. Heck I FLIP sometimes
even.
Example: Standin in line for registration at the college
my son is attending, lil gal in front of us, had on a pair
of real baggy white sweat pants....or should I say she
had em "almost on" then hadda black thong showin that
looked like she'd tried to yank clear up to her armpits.
My son kept sayin, "dont say nothin mom" he just knew
I was gonna make a comment.....outloud..... (I kept
thinkin to myself, bet her mama dont know she's dressin
