Senator Tom Brewer is working hard for his constituents. We attended a hearing with the natural resource committee on the wind turbine issue. Time will tell if our efforts were worthwhile.

We had very good seats. Even Governor Ricketts was sitting not too far away.

The homecoming king proposed to the homecoming queen at half-time. She accepted.

The game was nearly over, but a few more points were made. The final score was Nebraska 27 and Rutgers 17.

Coincidentally, the man in the next seat was someone I've known for several years. He used to ranch in the Sandhills and sold Moorman's Feed. We had a good visit, and caught up on a lot of happenings through many years of Sandhills history. It was a little hard to visit with all the game noise. :cboy:

Amazing how those Herefords have evolved from having horns point out front , to the top of their head and pointing sideways to now some don't even have horns. :wink: :cowboy:

Thanks for the tour! Looks like it was a great time. There sure was a lotta red in those photos!

I was in Lincoln once, spent the night, then we continued on our journey, back in 1984 when my sister moved across the country.

Thanks for sharing those pictures. Those prehistoric birds were very cool!
