It was a very nice wedding.

With eight sets of bridesmaids and groomsmen. The ceremony was prim and proper and just the right length, but I was amused
at a lady in the row ahead. She got the giggles almost uncontrollably. Outside later, I thanked her for keeping me entertained
so I didn't get drowsy. She revealed that the reason for her mirth was because her husband had whispered that the pastor
looked like John Denver. Later when the pastor announced for the congregation to sing, her husband said, "Rocky Mountain High,"
and the lady broke up. :)

The groom is an avid duck hunter, so this cake was at the reception.

Here is the more dignified and beautiful wedding cake.

A good friend who used to come to our branding each spring. He would haul his horse and help us ride for a few days.
The last time he visited, he and his brother took three days to drive out in a Model T pickup that he had restored.
That was a fun trip, and I enjoyed riding with them into town to eat dinner at our local cafe.
The beautiful rawhide reins and romal were made by another friend who lives in the Sandhills.

Nifty saw handle cane that he made

The handle is quite decorative.

Soap, sometimes you keep that camera just a little too handy. Coulda lived without the moonshot while having coffee this AM.

Thanks for sharing.

I witnessed the moon and laughed :D . It might of almost been
bright enough to help me check calving cows in the middle of the
night without a flashlight. :D

Pretty sunset!

Soap...I never have heard you talk about fishing in bear creek. Are there any fish in it?

No fish, and I've never seen any bears anywhere in the vicinity either, but it is a nice little creek.

Soap, please post the moon shot, I would like to see it. :)

Thanks for the photos.

Dylan, I fulfilled your request but moved it to Political Bull. It is not really political, but is probably a bit out of place in Ranch Talk. I was just being Quick Draw McGraw with my camera.
