looks pretty nice. You will enjoy it when you need it. :D

I'm far from an expert but would it tow better if the axle was a little farther back?

Not sure. I put it just pasted center toward the back. I have a truck tool box that will be put behind the welder the part that goes over the bed of the truck will fit over the fenders. It pulls pretty good and don't bounce to bad, but I have springs and shocks on it.

It should tow allright if you keep some tounge weight on it. I would have set your axel back another 12 inches not so apt to whip. Look's like a stout little trailer. I had to build trailer like that 15 years ago with the radius corners. After we did our part they went to another company that finished them out as concession trailers.

The tounge weight is a little more than I wanted, but I want room in the back to put pipe and plate on the trailer. I told my wife today I may build a pipe rack over the welder so I can haul longer pipe. It didn't take me but week to build it when it was rainning all the time. My dad was kidding me about what color to paint it. I told him it would have to be JD green because it would take a ton of paint to cover it already. Speaking of my parents my mom was diagnosed with Alheitzmer's last week. So it's been pretty crazy for us. The doc. said she was in the advance stage of it so it don't look to good for her. It will be hell or high water before I will put her in a home. She just loves been outside to much. My dad and I walk with her out in the pastures and woods just so she can see it all. Please say a pray for her. She is 81.

Those little Bobcat welders are pretty good machines for their size.

You'll want to maybe get a cover for it to keep rain and such out of it, particularly out of the exhaust

. I had one that had a small crack on the muffler that is located under the sheet metal, and it would collect water and allow it to drain into a cylinder causing a hydraulic lock. The timing gear is plastic IIRC and easy to damage under that kind of a condition.

Enjoy and Be Safe!!!!!
