Neighbor gal fell through a muskrat run with the back end of her tractor. Had a bale in the unroller on the 3-point. We went to pull her out. Tractor came easy but we left the bale behind so it wouldn't drag.
Went back to get a chain around the bale so we could drag it the 5 feet to shore. I got clumsy and went crotch deep and then laid on the ice and started to roll in. Debbie grabbed my shoulder and held me out. We did get the bale out and I'm thankful tonight for cab tractors with heaters and loving wives.
The whole rescue operation was completed in the dark and -22C.

You guys are ruthless! :lol: :lol: What a neighbor. That's going above and beyond.
Be careful out there. This kind of cold is how people die!! I finally got my skidsteer to run, but I have been able to work on it inside the shop. Now I have a heater in a sheep waterer that isn't working. As of right now they are eating snow!
