Just wanted to drop a quick note for everyone.....we attended the Friday sessions of the WCGC, and took in Kit Pharo's presentation, as well as Dr. Jill Clapperton from the U of Lethbridge(Alberta) speaking on soil chemistry and biology-my 2nd passion to cattle.
I had the pleasure of not only meeting Kit Pharo, but introducing him to the conference, and later, my wife and I took him for supper with 4 other friends. I must say, he is one of the most down-to-Earth, modest men I've ever met. He is just as he says on his newsletters, opinionated, but just straight forward and directly honest about everything. If he didn't have an answer for someone's questions - and there were alot of 'out-there' type of questions - he just said, "I don't know", but then took the time to talk through the dilemma with said person in search of a solution.
I really wish we had more time to visit and get to know one another, but I'm glad I met him, and can say without a doubt to anyone what my opinion is of Kit Pharo. He certainly falls into the category of 'Good Folk'.
