wet

With a little front coming through yesterday and night before, we got a whole .20" of rain. Better than wind, but no runaway, either. We are getting awfully dry and had several fires in the area last week. Fortunately relatively small ones due to quick action by local volunteer fire fighters. Too early in the year for that!

,45 hundredths here. First measureable precip since Nov. should greatly reduce fire hazard. Hopefully there is more in the not to distant future. Looks like the rain covered a big area. For those that did not get much hopefully you will get some soon. Production agriculture not much fun without moisture.

We have puddles in our sand at my house so I'd say 1/2 to 3/4' of an inch I'm sure it will get the rass roling now other than the temps here this week are to be a bit cool.

We had from 1.3 up to 2.15 inch last three days on our ground. Came super slow for us soak in great. Awesome spring rain not sure how long it's been since had something slow soaker like this. 45 miles west they had probably 4 inch or more. Lot heavier than we had sure some ran off over there. Hope everyone that needs some gets it. We were sure needing this.

We had 2 inches of snow last Monday. Followed by 70 mph wind which totally dried up everything. Blew semi trucks over north and west of here. Took a 60 foot tower down at work. We are at 30% of normal and losing fast. Life on the desert can be a challenge now and then. Glad to hear a few of ya'll are getting some moisture.

I wish we could send some to you guys that need it. We have had 8 to 10 inches in the past 10 days. It is a swamp here in northwest Florida.

We got just over an inch in the last 24 hours - - - We normally have our corn all planted by the 20th of April - - - just 20 acres so far - - - 1,300 to go! The we get to plnt another 1,200 acres of soybeans. Cold and wet describes our weather so far, mid 30s at night and upper 50s for a hi - - - about 15* below normal and about 150% of normal rainfall.

Grass and alfalfa are not growing very fast as it is still to cold. But when I see the weather in other areas I still feel blest!
