Here ya go, Jigs

"One of the things that really amazed me when we went to Nebraska was how sportsmanlike their fans are. They're not saying bad stuff to you, you come on to the field and they cheer for you. They're not negative in a sense that they're against the visiting team, they're just really for their team. And a lot of places could take a lesson on how to be fans from Nebraska. We were just really impressed and overwhelmed at how much support Nebraska had, but equally impressive to us was how sportsmanlike they were to us as a visiting team."

let them beat the Huskers, and see how well they are recieved.

there are a lot of good huskers, and every team has it's asses, but being a KSU fan, after 1998, I have seen the side of NU that most do not get to see. a spoiled little kid who had everything, suddenly realizing the "sugar daddy " died, and now is not so special.

I remembered Mack Brown being impressed how Husker fans handled Texas beating us one time so I looked this up. I can find many more testimonials from visitors if you like;

Nebraska's lost to Texas in 1998 ended a 47 game winning streak for the Cornhuskers in Lincoln. When the game ended, and Williams had led the 'Horns on the game-winning drive, thousands of 'Husker fans stood and applauded as Ricky left the field

Against Nebraska he made a touchdown-saving tackle after a fourth-quarter interception that would have given the Cornhuskers a 20-10 lead. "Three guys had kill shots on him on that play," says Adams. "Most star guys would have just fallen down. Ricky avoided all three guys and made the tackle." When Williams left the field in Lincoln, Nebraska fans chanted his name in admiration.

when he left Manhattan, he hung his head in shame. the Lynch Mob held him to less than 60 yards rushing. some heisman winner!

for every sunshine review you have, I can dig up personal experience to counter with. sadly, most of my family are Husker fans....so the hatred is burned in pretty deep.
