Looks like you've had some very beneficial rains there HayMaker. As we've had here. Monday we got about 1 1/2 inches, then yesterday we got another 2 1/4, pastures are flooded here now, it'll be a day or two before any creek crossin will take place. Who knows when we'll be able to get into the hayfields to cut. Still have showers in the forecast for the next day or so.

That's good Lilly, take it while you can, because it could quit any day, looks like the low pressure system that's bringing us rain is headed east to RobertMac and Mike, and another is coming to the hill country today,we got a 80% of severe storms tonite, been wet around here all week.............good luck

The picture of the ford bridge from the top shows heavy scour on the down stream side also known as an undercut. Unless the undercutting is stopped it won't be long until water starts to flow under the concrete and then it won't be long until that structure is gone. It is a natural process of stream degradation.
If you are lucky you can slow it down by placing grout bags in the scour hole under the structure but head pressure from the up stream side will find its way under. Driving sheet pile will correct the problem but a new structure will be cheaper.
Oops sorry but it is a habit.
