What are you paying

I really haven't seen where milk in the US is much cheaper than Canadian prices. Yet a lot of consumers complain that supply management is costing them so much!

When we buy a "gallon" of milk in Canada we get 4 liters. How does that compare with what you get in the US?

A US gallon is about 3.78541178 litres. Google said so! :)

So I guess if that's how they get their milk then our prices are even closer than they appear?

If your milk is $6 on the CD side for 4 litres and $3 on the US side for 1 US gallon, than the CD equivalent to a US gallon would be $5.68. If you factor in current exchange, your looking at about a difference of $2.38/gallon
