What do you pay for .22 shells?

Boy have .22 shells ever gone up. A couple years ago I could get 525 shells for around $11.00 now they are $25.00.

What is every one else paying? And why the increase?

Pretty soon I won't be able to afford shells to shot gophers, I guess I will have to snare them.

Not sure about the cost. What kind do you use? Took this today, I would have shot him with a 22 but only had a camera.
