Sounds like he has that down pat!!!B has an old Jeep Cherokee that is his calving vehicle. Catches the calves pretty close to the Jeep. If the cow acts too snotty he has a shovel in the back seat. The cow gets a big hard whack on top of her head with the shovel. A real snotty one might take 6 or 7 hits. But they all decide to stay back. He is not a small man so a shot on the head from the shovel has to hurt. He stuffs the calf's head in by the brake pedal. 2 shots, an ear tag, and a band for the bulls just takes him seconds.
He has every thing located for a quick grab. Calvary 9, Multi min, ear tag and the bander. You should hear him complain if someone else used the Jeep and things aren't exactly where he wants them. The other thing he has handy and uses is a calf hook on an extendable 10 foot pole.Sounds like he has that down pat!!!
