What size of generator?

Haha those of you that don't like to listen to generators wouldn't like goin to a big 3 or 4 day barrel race. Generators runnin everywhere!

Yep-- you go to these rodeos and ropings now- and watch the millions $ worth of trailers/campers and motorhomes pull in...

Back when we were running the countryside- if you had a topper shell for your pickup you thought you were in seventh heaven- and a lot of folks were sleeping out behind the chutes...If it started raining during the night you could pile 4-5 into a car- or 6-7-8 into those camper shells for sleeping accomodations and find out in the morning who your bedmates were- novices to world champions....And if someone was really on a hot roll and could afford a Motel Room- they could easily sleep 10 if you pulled one of the mattress's off and threw on the floor...

We have one of those 3000 watt Honda Inverter generators to use with the living quarters horse trailer. Its quiet enough you can barley hear it when your in the trailer and it won't rile your neighbors either. Go to any rodeo or horse show and your going to hear a bunch of generators running. Thats when you realize how much nicer the quiet ones are. Its one of those deals where you get what you pay for.

When we made our short splash in the cutting game our trainer and I were walking back from the barns after the horses were put away. There was a truck and trailer in the parking lot the shone so bright it hurt your eyes. I commented on how fancy that outfit was and the trainer said, " Yeah, and you wouldn't put your chickens in the trailer house they call home."
