How in the world did I come up with the MYT Futures thing anyhow? Oh well, everyone has to have their unique posting title. Anyhow, I thought BMR would be very interested in a female sale I am going to be looking at. Got some nice Heat Wave daughters for sale. :wink: http://www.showsteers.com/vanhove/ Dad's still trying to talk me out of it (God bless him) but I might try to snag a heifer from this sale. Of course, that depends on whether or not I get my calves sold in time. Geez, I'm smart. Sell last year's calves to go blow it on more cows. But if I can't get heifers home from this sale, I'm going to run about thirty miles up the road to Running Creek Limousin. Heifers up there are going to be a lot cheaper and there are both breds and coming yearlings available. Joey said I could walk through all 500 head and pick some out. Dad likes that option a lot better. So, maybe we'll get some Limi baby pictures up here pretty soon. Exciting year ahead. I'll have some dinero to spend on heifers, we have a nice warm semen tank we need to completely restock, and last year's purchases are going to be dropping their first babies in a couple months. This truly is going to be a "sweet 16" year.
