I'm in central Kansas. Harvest finished over a month ago here. Sometimes you have to accept certain expenses as "fixed" and look to other areas for cost cutting. You're needing a very seasonal item done to certain specifications. That puts you in a non or limited negotiating situation, in my humble opinion.

You're right about that. We have contracts in place, we are just looking for a closer location to one of our facilities. Then we can look at working out future contracts. At once facility we received around 30 truckloads a week. So we have to have contracts in place or we'd be up a creek. I don't know if they are working on changing or not. I've told them what I'm finding regarding the chopped stalks. Hopefully they can take that into consideration.
