The boss was away today so I was babysitter/driver for the junior cowboss on our evening rounds tonight. Wants to check "mummy cow, baby cow" more times in the day than I do so maybe we'll make a rancher out of her yet :)

A new arrival - I'm not a black bull fan, or a tan cow fan, but these $485 dollar breds I picked up last fall have been a great buy - should of bought a pile more

Problem is the grey calves - pretty hard to see on our banked grass, give me reds any day!

This mornings arrivals - a set of twins looking suspiciously like the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood

Nice pics. What cute help you have!! My grampa was called Ginger all his life,so far that hair colour hasn't shown up since him.A new granbaby due soon, maybe this one :)

Cute little assistant driver you have there.

We used to put our occasional gray calves in the Sandhills Cattle Association carcass contest, and they did quite well. Profit is pretty in any color.

I really like your junior cowbosses' hair color
Yeah, everyone is crazy about that hair. Dunno why - where I came from every day was a "kick a ginger day" :(

I beg your pardon... "kick a ginger day"??? I'll have you know your little helper and I share the exact same hair color (well, when mine doesn't have blonde highlights in it  ). It's a sign of pure intelligence   :D .
