I thought I would put up some pictures of what it can look like in the N. Plains, for some of the southerners to appreciate. :-)

Going feeding yesterday.

Today's ground blizzard. Not much new snow, but the inch or so we have is sure blowing around. Almost zero visibility at times.

Not a nice day here either as we have quite a bit more snow than you have. The Eastern 1/3 of SD is getting socked pretty hard as this is their third snow in less than a week. I am glad that the temps are not too bad as it is in the teens at least. I am not calving so life is good.

It has been snowing here off and on but the wind is making visability pretty poor. The further east you go the worse it gets according to the news. That was a nice tractor in the background. I belive it was green? :(

have a cold one

Bad wind and ground blizzard here today. Had about 8 pair end up quite a ways from the windbreak, behind a little s*** pile. So instead of bucking a headwind to get them to the windbreak, we just sat some net wrap bales end to end in front of them....will see how that works.

In the last week we have had nearly 2 ft of snow it sucks.School let out at noon yesterday and none today.

Yur alot braver than I was today Tap...I almost lost the pickup door in the wind getting out to get a gate...then had to drive all over the pasture to find which hole the critters were hiding in...hurry and feed em and then get home. Not my idea of a picture perfect day..lol We didn't get hardly any snow amounts, cause it all blew away! It's still a howling out tonite and the windchill is dang cold!!! Nice shots though... :D

All of you up in that country that has weather like that are braver than me. I was amazed at how leaving and only bein gone a couple weeks can make such a big difference. Our trees now have leaves....not all of them, but there's a bunch of em that are startin to really put em on now. Grass is greenin up real good...and warm temps are here to stay (or so it seems) spring has sprung in Texas. The red buds are bloomin....I'll hafta get some pictures soon to share :D
