We'll get your same weather....just a day or so after you've already used it!!!

Come to Ga.... looks like our wild plums are gonna be ' plum' full this time around.

I only know where 3 small wild plum trees are. They are on the fence beside the road. Was so easy to just stop and pick em. Then Mr Lilly's cousins moved in a doublewide.....right smack dab where they are. Now they trim, and prune, prim and save these lil trees...and soon as the plums get ripe, they go snatch em right off the tree n I don't get none LOL I tried to get them to let me come dig up some of the small trees that were comin up under the others....and what did they do......took the lawn mower out there and mowed em all down :cry2:

I wonder how saplings would do in the mail? I'll ck around the ones near the creek....if there's any saplin's started I wonder if I could send ya some? Might be worth a shot!

OH that would be cool. These were less than a foot tall......I'd think you could wrap the roots in a wet paper towel...or somethin. then stick em in one of those bubble wrap lined manilla envelopes.......

Then I'd baby em n git em to make my own wild plums LOL :D

I'll go out in a bit for the afternoon cow ck/dog walk time and I'll see what's happening near the trees @ the creek.

I'll keep ya posted. If there's some that's able to dug up I'll make note of them .

If I see something that's likely to root....I'll pull it down and put a rock on it for you and we'll see if I can get it to root.

That's how granny would root roses...she'd put a brick or a rock on it, till it took root. Then cut it off and transplant it.

Cool TY :D
