Yes I often wonder how he is doing.
I can remember back in the 70's when all the talk was going to South America to ranch, wonder how that's worked out?

I emailed him a couple of years ago and never got a response. Being in that shithole would be horrible today. Hope he got out OK.

I have been concerned for quite sometime. I'm sure he would check in if he was okay, so I fear the worst. :cry2:
Remember his girlfriend was shot and killed there a few years ago.
He was really seemed to like it there, I really enjoyed the pictures he shared here, and I know a lot of you did as well.
I hope if anyone hears from him they will let us know. Be nice to know he is okay.

We had a neighbour that went there from here late sixties or early seventies. Got burnt out once or twice then killed by natives is the story.
His dad R.D. (Bob) Symons wrote some very good books about his experiences ranching in southern Alberta, up here, and some of his time in the first war.
