Well, when it acts like spring anyway.

April showers bring pretty flowers.

An 11 yr. old cow I like with her good calf. She wintered well on cake and grass.

Water, black cows, and green grass. What else could a rancher ask for.

Moved some pairs into fresh pasture, and out of their calving pasture.

That wash would be a real eye-opener if you were to come blasting up to it at full speed. Looks like it is pretty well disguised until you're right up close to it!

I love spring time where I live now. But spring time in West Texas was sometimes not a pleasant time of year, Between the wind blowin 70 and 80 mph non stop for months, sand blowin, (sandblastin yer legs) and the storms that came thru dumpin softball size hail with a tornado here and there. Well.....i didnt like spring too much.
I will say the lightenin storms, and huge thunderheads were really neat to watch, but when it actually got to where you were, it was time to take cover LOL

neat pictures Tap, is that wash a new formation, or is it somethin that's there all the time?

I am sure the wash has been there for many years, jersey lilly. The drainage above it has a lot of bare ground and it doesn't take much of a rain at all to run water. So it is constantly eroding. When it rains that is.
