who's for dinner

Tam isn't even close to HAYMAKER they are at odds. NR has his own opinions, but he doesn't live in the US, but I do respect some of his idealogy but not all of it, but that's mostly due to laws that are so different between Canada and the US. Good Grief, we bought wolves from Canada for a very pretty penny and Canada has every right to laugh at us for doing so. THAT'S because we didn't have enough people against wolves to make a difference. I did what I could, but we really need to come together as ONE VOICE and get this Bull&*^@ outta here! The majority is tooooo quiet and it makes me mad

excellent advice!!!

No one has yet named my hero-- Teddy Roosevelt... After family I would definitely pick Teddy and Churchill.....Maybe my third choice would be General Custer- just to see if his actual last words were "Where'd all the blinkin Indians come from?"

my mother (passed away april 15, 1999 at age 49) and my hero/dad who is still living----just to have one last meal with them...together! Would also love to have my great-great-great grandfather Sam who fought in the civil war....what stories he would have to tell!!!!

Of course, having a meal with any of you here on Ranchers would always be a treat and an honor....even if your views differ from mine!!  Always nice to meet new folks!

Maybe I have a different take on things here.

I was adopted. There were 5 children and three of us came to my folks and were raised together.

One other sibling was raised 75 miles from us and we didn't know it until we were adults.

The youngest stayed in Switzerland where we were born.

Since we have grown up, we have been in touch. Matter of fact the one in Switzerland was over here for one year.

Maybe I'm just selfish, but so far, no good has come from all of us meeting. It has only complicateds life and hasn't improved anything.

We talk once a year or so. When we met, it was like meeting a distant relative, you know you are related, but have nothing else in common.

So far, finding the others hasn't done anything good for me and I think the others feel the same.

Sooo, I guess I don't really want to meet any of my other relatives, even the dead ones. They might turn out to be people I ain't too fond of. And then I would just feel bad, knowing I was related to them.

And I have met some celebraties and they are just like all folks. Some are pretty cool and some are a pain.

So if I'm going to have dinner with someone, it's probabvly going to be people who I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy their company(Saddle Tramp, Soapweed, nr, Mr nr, etc) as then I KNOW I'd have a good time.

Lifes too short to put up with jerks. Unless it would give you the chance to have some fun with them.

Actually, we just got through eating fried chicken and cornbread, and that even tasted pretty good. Guess I'm game to eat about anything when hunger sets in, and your fine company would be welcome anytime.
