This is a hydrafork I am trying to get in shape to use. There are two 1200 lb round bales loaded. I started small, now have figured out I need a bigger deck on my wagon to be able to load the amount of hay I want, and more horses to pull it. The fork pulls round bales apart and loads them like loose hay, although it is taking a while to get efficient at that. Right now we have a couple of smaller outfits, a wagon and a sleigh, both with round bale unrollers, until I get the bugs worked out of the hydrafork.

What WHR is not saying is that when you mix a good horseman with tools, steel and hydraulics anything can happen.

Occasionally for the better.

That looks like fun for about one afternoon.

I'll stick with burning fossil fuels.

Just not to check heifers though!

Looks like a neat way to scatter groceries for the gals! Welcome to Ranchers WHR! We will try really hard not to hold your choice in Gcreek as a pal against you. Unless you too are a goatherder!    Keep snapping pictures and stop being a lurker. It's sure fun to see how other outfits do stuff. Again, WELCOME :D

Very cool, thanks for posting . :D AT least you don't have to worry about them starting in the morning after a record low temp . :P

I think I will stick to fossil fuels as well, need to support hubbies career a little longer .
