Every thread have to denigrate into a pissing match-maybe limit your comments to the issue being discussed. The posters kids, travel budget, alternate breed choice etc really shouldn't matter. Or maybe we just need a bickering forum. From now on we'll take as a given I'm a ne'er to do wastrel and we can just talk about cowsWere all adults here or reasonable facsimile's of them..
 
I have to agree on this one... It's a chance for some of us that don't get to travel to look at differant types of cattle and operations.. Bickering gets really old... I welcome kind considerate replies.... That maybe will enlightens some of us... So knock the bitchin and moaning off!!!
 
And how bout' thinking just a little before typing? If you wouldn't want it said about you, or your family, or your cattle, why say it to somebody else? Folks wouldnt need to be so thick hided around this place if it wasn't for all the razor sharp tongues wagging! Maybe it's cabin fever. Maybe it's calving coming up. Maybe there's a few with bad attitudes. Whatever the reason it sucks. If you want to visit, email me. But I've sure had enough of this place............... AGAIN!

Some days this place is like walking into a corral full of old bulls, all trying to take cheap shots at eachother, and tear the crap out of stuff. I realize some people bring it on themselves, but it has gotten pretty damn old IMHO.

I, like Katrina, and many others enjoy coming here to "visit" other places. I also appreciate respectful comments which turn into constructive dialogue for all of us to learn from :D .
 
while i agree, lets be honest, it will never change. when you bring this many people together from all different parts of the world, this sort of thing WILL happen. if it bothers some of you so much, i'm bettin' there are a zillion other sites out there that you could tune in to. i do find it funny that NR started this thread though :shock: :? :wink:
 
You know...I don't notice much of this goin on at all. Maybe it's because I stay outta PB??? Yes occasionally there's a thread where things heat up. But I haven't noticed an over abundance of it.
 
I agree that we can do without the personal attacks. That said, hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday. It's warm, a few flakes floating in the air, and we're healthy enough to be typing on here, so we're doing better than alotta folks.

I'm very sorry I ruined your other thread. I really meant everything honestly, I thought maybe you were an order buyer or something that was the reason you travel so much, makes sense for a semen salesman to do the same. Good luck and I apologize.

A little arguein amonst cowboys aint never hurt nobody. I have seen it turn into some perty good fist fights in a few cowpens. It was some sure good watchin to. The 2 scrappers eventully made up in a hour or so and all was well. But how about me or some other postin a question and never get a reply? From some of u professors?
 
Sometimes we just don't know what to say and speaking for myself only here, I sometimes don't have a clue what some are talking about or asking. :???: As far as discussion goes, a little arguing can be entertaining. :?
 
Well it's nice to have a little "feel good" post like this once in a while, ironic as some others mentioned that it was started by NR who seems to enjoy more than most putting down other peoples ideas, opinions, abilities, perceived wealth status and country of origin.
I'll admit I post things I've regretted on occasion and I'm not proud of that, i'll resolve to try harder.

I'll tell you one thing for all NR and I may trade insults once in a while he says what he thinks. I have more respect for that than the folks that say nothing publicly but bad mouth other posters, their cattle and their reasons for posting in PMs.

I would like to see Mike comment on this. I bet He could have a hay day with this. Never cease to be amazed with who can come up wit ideas. Kind of reminds me of the KETTLE AND THE POT! At the end of the day they both were black. :wink:

by starting this thread, NR did prove he has a sense of humor :lol: i chuckle every time i read his post that started this thread on its way. :lol2: thanks NR....good clean entertainment :D :D
 
I figure it's an open forum. Thoughts to be shared I don't say anything I would'nt argue face to face. If one person is hell bent on slamming one way I'm hell bent on defending it if thats wrong so be it.NR knows darn well he dishes out well more than he takes.Just try slamming Hockey for instance just ask Mike...or some rifle.
