I'm not sure why anyone would comment about a person's family, their travels or what they do in their spare time. A guys personal life shouldn't be anyone elses business. Ranch talk should be a forum to discuss and visit about beef production practices. We can disagree all day long about that and at the end of the day we might learn something we can use. I know I have over the years.

Its really very simple ot. I highly respect the qualities and intelligence that Mike C has. You see I never have seen him boast about his ties to the community or constantly ramble on about his days as a sheriff/brandinspector/judge all the things you like to boast about.
On CT or here when he posts He is Johnny on the spot with facts plain and simple. Over time i have gleaned more information from his posts that deal with the issues.
Lastly he does not have those obamaha attributes that you seem to have. Every paragraph is not about him or his family rather posts dealing with substance.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion or being proud of your accomplishments. Stateing the facts does not necessarily mean you are bragging, if they are facts. The problem that I see is that posters forget to have respect for other posters. You can disagree respectfully without attacking someone personally. RESPECT seems to be what is lacked here. I notice that there are even a few posters that sign there names, that says something of there personal character.

That what they have on a huntin board I go to no holds bard and it can sure get ruff. Some people load up and go hunt one another. Some sure good readin and can get perty funny to. For the most part, people get mad and argue and get over it. People that aint wonted to read it sure don't have to get on it and the rest of the board was always good. On here, it could be called the bull pen.

I wonder if I might respectfully ask you to respect some of the rest of us and leave the Ot bashing to Political bull so we don't have to be exposed to it here on Ranch talk. I singled you out because of your response on this page but it certainly is directed at all who are participating in this exercise. Let's keep it to PB or Bull if it is necessary at all. It is loosing it's entertainment value and makes you no better than what you accuse Ot of.
