Wife Left Me, What do I do?

You could actually try doing absolutely everything on her list instead of caving.
It would be a good education about the multi-tasking, God-given, ability women have. and think how appreciative she'd be when she returns.

You'd be wrong JB. I'd love to have a maid, because by the time I get home from work, the last thing on my mind is housework. The only thing is that after twenty four years, the hubby and I are still arguing about the details. Tall and blonde we agree on, but he wants a girl maid, and I want a guy! Until we agree, no maid.......

OK, if you say so.

Comprimize.

Everyone knows woman are the best at all the detail work and us men just shove things under the rug. So get a blonde female maid, who is about 55 or 60 years old. That should work.

Katrina,

I think you have a few options for a "male maid"

Groom , valet or cell mate depending on where you reside :) :P But why stop at a maid? Get yerself a "man servant" You would be the envy of the neighborhood :)

I personally like "domestic godess" :)

You've got this thread running on 2 forums have you decided which one is giving the best advice?

Oh by the way time is running out. :D

Hands down over here. CattleToday is moving a little slow.

Well got through another day, So far no cleaning has been done, no clothes cleaned, there is still enough clean dishes to get me through a few more days, 16 year old took daughter to practice, Local Sonic did my cooking for me. Kids fed and watered and checked the heifer for me.

Hey this Housewife stuff is not that hard, can't figure out why they complain so much

I did hit a couple snags last night and today with her being gone.

Ran out of wash rags but had plenty of towels. But do not worry I figured out how to solve the problem. Did you know that if you take a towel and scissors you can make one towel into a little over 10 wash rags. We should be good for another couple days now :)

The other problem is that it was getting pretty lonely sleeping by myself, after 20 years of marriage. So I solved that problem by telling my 9 year old son that thinks he is to old to sleep with daddy some good scary stories so he would sneak in and sleep with me

So far I think I am handling things pretty good. Just not that hard being a house wife if you ask me.
