I'm looking out my picture window and just counted 180 head of elk and about 100 mule deer on an irrigated corn field. Luckily the crop got harvested on time this year so they can't do too much damage. However one of my bale yards is about a half mile from where they are grazing right now. Last year the corn was wet and winter hit early. Some fields didn't get harvested till spring. The elk wintered really well and were corn fed and fat I'm sure. Wonder how many foundered? Probably none.

my whitetails finally found my stack of second-cutting alfalfa  i guess i should be happy it took them this long to find it. :? :???:

How many wolves do we need to send you guys before you learn how to use them properly lol. Elk are coming back strong here not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.
