Windows 10

Stay away from Windows 10. I have it and hate it. My e-mail doesn't work properly. Microsoft Word doesn't work properly, and I'd like to go back to whatever I used to have but don't know how to do it. Stay with what you have and are familiar with.
 
I had windows 8 and hated it - - - did the free update to windows 10 and it is "10" times better. If you have widows 7 keep it but if you have windows 8 you will love the change - - - 95% of the problems I had with 8 just went away.
 
Between HP and Windows 10 I HATE this computer!!!!! I would not recommend Windows 10 at all!!!!!
 
I have windows 7 on my home computer and also on the one at our business. I upgraded the business one to Windows 10 and then a GE illustrated parts catalog would not work with it so I went back to 7 (which is not as easy as they claim). Had to reload the parts catalog and a few other things. Decided to keep my home one on Windows 7.
 
I have 10 on this computer and so far no problems. It's not even that hard to get used to. I've heard many reviews good and bad. It may come down to your computer. I think the newer ones may handle it better.
 
I have wondows 10 and it isn't that bad, except for popup windows that I can't stop. Wish I could stop those as they use up bandwidth and probbly gona give some viruse or something.
 
I got changed from windows to Mac a couple of years ago. I was able to run windows 7 on my mac, but now I am totally mac. It took some getting used to. Especially, what do I do with all the time I saved by not having to answer calls from "windows technical support" which is a scam. (Just google it!!)


Some years ago, I was a computer programmer and enjoyed challenges - now I just want things to work without any problems.

"...what ever I used to have......" Man, I can identify with that--"what kinda computer you got?" a black one. program? er...winders.....and like a little tv....and a keyboard, you can type on it...

Computers are like cell phone and many other things anymore--you can't live with them, and can't live without them. :wink:
