Thanks, ladies. I agree this was a great topic. I enjoyed going through the old pictures with my grandma.. it was fun to see the farming practices of many, many years ago.

I haven't run one- Dad said I was too young, but I have shocked and pitched bundles...Not fun when its 90 degrees....

Boy I hated shocking feed, it was the worst...........same thing over and over. Plus you knew that you still had to come back and pick them up.

We shocked corn for years. At least till I left for a "higher" education.
Funny how all the equipment was modernized when I left home.
