Golly, I finally won...thanks everyone.

Just a little bit about this picture. This is my dad in Alaska. He worked
up there for 15 years and loved every minute of it. He helped build the pioneer roads they took the equipment in on. This particular shot
he said he was the first one to "punch a hole in that rock." They
were making a road down to the creek way below. Someone
asked him if he was scared and he said, "if you were scared you
shouldn't have been up there."

Running heavy equipment was his life.

Your dad was a brave man to handle a job like that.

My sister's husband's dad drove a caterpillar to put in the pilings for the supports for the tramway in the Tetons, going to the top of Mount Rendezvous. This tramway has two cars. When one is at the top, the other is at the bottom, and when on the move they meet in the middle. Each car can carry 60 people. The tramway gains 4,500 feet of altitude in its two and a half mile distance. Driving a cat on those steep conditions to install the upright supports would make your hair stand upright, and the pucker factor would be prevalent.
