Thanks everyone. This tractor has a bit of story behind it. My wife's grandfather still farmed with horses into the 50's. When my father in law got back from Korea service in 53 he bought this Farmall M used. The first tractor on the farm. To add a little to the story though, it came from a farm that was about 20 miles from where they lived. I grew up on the neighboring farm from where he bought it. My dad knew the people that bought it new well, but they were gone by the time I came along. I still fire it up each year and use the sickle mower around the yard.
