about 2" on the heavy, wet, white stuff in town and still coming down pretty good outside!! gonna make for some tricky travel this weekend and it is heading east!! be careful, sw, hanta and everyone else east of me!!

Yeah Kris- snowing here this morning...We were trying to work out a deal to go tomorrow and get the heifers we bought that we couldn't get last week because of the blizzard-meet the fellow half way in Grass Range- but now I'm not sure if either of us want to be travelling with the icy roads...
Roads up here aren't too bad- but I guess south of the Missouri got rain- and freezing rain before it turned to snow- and a lot of the highways are pretty icy....

Yesterday pea soup thick ice fog with visibility down to less than 100 yards in some areas- sun never did come out... Now today snow...Could be a long long winter!!! :(

Altho the weather boys are forecasting a Chinook about the first of the week to move thru out of Alberta- altho most of its effects will be felt on the east range and south of the Missouri....

OT---TOOK MY YOUNGEST TO SCHOOL TODAY AND JUST GET THE BIGGEST KICK OUTTA THE YOUNG FOLK WHO THINK 4-WHEEL-DRIVE MAKES THEM INVINCIBLE TO BLACK ICE...FOLKS SLIPPING AND SLIDING ALL OVER THE PLACE!! SNOW IS SUPPOSED TO LET UP, BUT THE SKIES ARE GONNA CLEAR UP AND GONNA GET BELOW ZERO TONIGHT!! BRRRRRR!!

Was raining here at 8pm last night. Checked again at 9pm and it was dropping ice pellets. Heavy snow at 10:30pm.

It is partly cloudy here now. Got about 3 inches.

YEAH THE SNOW DIDN'T START HERE, EITHER TIL THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND THEN IT CAME DOWN WET AND HEAVY....AT LEAST IT IS NOT THE KIND THAT WILL BLOW AROUND AND DRIFT...TOO MANY AROUND HERE ARE FINALLY GETTING PLOWED OUT FROM THE LAST STORM THAT HIT US!!

We received a pleasant surprise last night-- Weatherboys had predicted temps of 5 to 15 Below for the night- and it was 18 Above this morning :-) They also predicted sunshine for today--but so far its been a pretty dreary cloudy day... Nice out tho- no wind and temp around 25...
