Wobbly heifer

[Big Muddy rancher]

Had a heifer calve on her own the other night but must have hurt herself. She is laying around and has trouble standing and walking, She has moved around the large pen, gone for water and been to the feed bunk but when you try to bring her to the barn she falls down. Just won't walk along has to do something stupid and falls.

Wondering if hobbles on the back legs might help?

I would think she would fight the hobbles and make it worse. If she's eating and drinking maybe she'll get better.

If she is doing the spread eagle hobbles will help. Leave 18 to 24 inches between legs.
