A friend of ours who owns land on the Big Horn mountains said they
got a wolf that had killed 14 sheep for sure and who knows how many
they haven't found. I think they got him last week and he was a little guy.
Weighed 147 lbs.

How would you like to meet up with him in the mountains?

I'm sure there will be more news about this. He just told me
a day ago.

A friend of mine shot 2 males about 2 weeks ago then the federal trapper caught another male and female. They were pretty brave he shot them off his froint step they had killed 2 calves and all a 1/2 mile from town with houses everywhere.

Don't know about the rest of you but if I ran into a wolf in the 150 pound range I would pee myself! The darn critter weighs more than I do! Now I know that wolves typically will run but but (stutters) what if he stood his ground. That is it I am going to camp "Northern" and Ty is gonna have to give me wolf shootin lessons......

Why am I not surprised?

I hate what our federal government is doing to us with the dadgum, dadburn, *%%$#$#(_ wolves!!!!!! I also don't see why they can't understand that there's a reason that they were nearly extinct!!!!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

I like the thought of there being wolves out there.

Of course, when I say, "Out there," I mean locked away from livestock and people.

When someone's child gets killed by a pack of these things, who will the family sue? The U.S., of course, which also spells us, and they'd be right to do it. I mean, if the government and the greenies hadn't put these things out there, would the kid have died?

This is a bad policy and if they can't keep 'em separated from livestock, they ought not let them loose. I love animals and wild animals and want there to be wolves, but put 'em in 10,000 acre wolf proof pens or whatever you gotta do to keep 'em locked up.

Turning wolves loose? Imagine telling a western rancher that 50 years ago. He'd laugh in your face or whip your ash. You turn a wolf loose around my place I will kill it (and hide it) and come looking for you.
